ATMA is dedicated to the preservation of the Tibetan Mastiff, and to the promotion of sound, healthy dogs of traditional temperament and beauty.

The American Tibetan Mastiff Association is a member of the American Kennel Club and, as such, is the only national Tibetan Mastiff Breed Club which is recognized and sanctioned by the AKC.

	ATMA 2025 National Specialty The ATMA National Specialty will be held on April 12, 2025, in Augusta, NJ at the Sussex County Fairgrounds. There will be a parent club specialty on April 13, 2025. The Tibetan Spaniel Club of America, Inc. will be holding their National, as well as several regional specialties at the same location.
